The Samsung Galaxy W is an upper mid-range smartphone. The Galaxy W runs on Android v2.3 and it has a powerful 1.4 GHz processor. It’s relatively light, weighing in at just 110g and it packs in a 3.7 inch touchscreen. As with most Galaxy smartphones there are two 2 cameras. On the Galaxy W, the primary camera on the back is 5 megapixels with autofocus, LED flash and 720p video recording. The secondary camera on the front is a VGA camera with the main purpose of video calling. 2GB of memory is available with the phone with the option to upgrade to 32GB via a microSD card, which is standard in this class. As with all Android smartphones the Samsung Galaxy W comes with a suite of Google applications and access to thousands of useful apps via Android market.
